VegfestUK London – ticket giveaway #BringAFriendToVegfest

August 7, 2015

Vegan food can be absolutely delicious if you do it right. So I’m really looking forward to getting lots of inspiration at VegfestUK London at London Olympia on 10th and 11th of October.

VegfestUK is described as being ‘a top day out stuffed with sumptuous cuisines’. For a limited period, tickets for VegfestUK London are available on a ‘buy one get one free’ basis, so you can #BringAFriendToVegfest.

I’ll be bringing my sister Soph who is vegan and has been to VegfestUK a couple of times before. She says it’s really good.

With 200 stalls and 14 caterers, I’m planning on trying out lots of vegan foods. Normally when I go to events I have to choose carefully in order to carefully avoid foods containing meat, which I haven’t eaten since I was a teenager, and I also try to avoid cow’s milk because it gives me stomach ache and digestive problems.

If you want to go to VegfestUK, leave a comment below telling me your all time favourite vegan food in order to be entered into a draw for a pair of free tickets.

Updated 28th August 2015: This draw is now closed.

The winner of the draw for two weekend tickets to VegfestUK London is Steph, who will need to supply a UK postal address in order to have the tickets posted to her by VegfestUK.

I will receive a pair of tickets to VegfestUK.

Not that I would be able to make it sadly (due to location and the fact that my 3rd baby is due around a week before) but I think my favourite Vegan food would have to be the icecream that my friend sells here in Munich, it’s amazing! Have fun, it sounds like a great festival! 🙂

I’m not sure I have an all time favourite vegan food but I do enjoy a ratatouille from time to time! Hope you enjoy the Vegfest show!

I would love to go to vegefest as I really need to improve my veggie cooking skills, as after almost 35years of being a veggie I am still appalling at cooking decent stuff for myself! My favourite vegan food is actually Tofu yep, deep fried Chinese style from my childhood… Shocking isn’t it…

Due to my intolerances, I fund a lot of vegan recipes suit my needs. This sounds great!

Good luck to anyone entering. It is too far away for me

I wouldn’t be able to attend but I’d be happy to show this to my vegetarian friends.

Was very excited to read about this event and just realised it is the week we are on our hols. I would love to become a vegan as i gave up red meat three months ago and am ready to take another step now!

Vegfest sounds like a brilliant event, must be great to get lots of ideas too. It’s not one for me but I do love a good food festival 🙂

Chickpea, spinach, cauliflower and sweet potato jalfrezi is my favourite vegan meal.
It is also a brilliant way of using up bits of veg lying around and has the added bonus of tasting even better reheated the next day!
Would love to go to Vegfest London and get some inspiration for more adventurous meals 🙂

Mine would have to be Hoummous. Love the stuff and can’t get enough of it. I’m also lucky to have a really great veggie chinese restaurant near me and half of the menu is vegan. Any dish on that menu would have to be a contender for my favourite dish, they are all so yummy!

Yes houmous is yummy! And I’m so jealous that you have a veggie Chinese restaurant near you!
